The Minnesota Timberwolves are in the playoff hunt and Kevin Love is the reason why.
Now ever since the departure of Kevin Garnett to Boston the T Wolves have been league bottom feeders. While Wolves fans had to watch as Garnett led the C’s to another World Title there team was eyeing the lottery year after year. Then in the 08 draft Kevin was back. Not Garnett but a 6-10 power forward from UCLA named Kevin Love. The Franchise didnt think much of him at first but once he hit the court they knew they had a ball player on there hands.
In jus 3 seasons Kevin Love has established himself as one of the best Power Forwards in the game. Numbers dont lie, and his have improved every year. Although he has yet to lead his young T Wolves to the playoffs its only a matter of time. Kevin Love has averaged double digits in points and rebounds all 3 seasons he’s been in the league. Last season he set a record wit 52 straight double doubles breakin a record that had stood since 1976 when Moses Malone did it. He went on to avg 20 pts and 15 rebounds for the season, and this season his numbers are even better.
This season he’s avg 26 pts a game and 15 boards per hes got the T Wolves 2 games below .500 but they are in the mix of the playoff hunt and while the road ahead will be rough he’s got the skill to take em there. Unfortunately he lost one f his biggest helpers when rookie PG Ricky Rubio was lost for the season wit a torn ACL. But regardless of weather they make the playoffs this year or next Kevin Love is fo real and the Wolves have some bite to there game again. I guess one Kevin is as good as another!!!
