While the off season is jus gettin started the talk around The NFL news is once again all about the Quarterback position.

Now every football fan knows the importance of the man behind center. Its the one position more then any other that will make or break your team every year. So its no wonder that all NFL news is about where Certain big name QB’s will land. Names like Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Matt Flynn,and of coarse Peyton Manning. But Can these QB’s really be the game changer that some teams need?

Everybody knows that Luck is going number 1. But pass that nobody knows nuthin, yeah Luck goes one most likely to the Colts but then what does  that mean for Manning? All the talkin heads that cover NFL news were sure thats Colts owner Jim Irsay would release Manning to free agency with all the questions regarding Paytons health. But it hasn’t happened yet and on March 8 if Manning is still a Colt Irsay will have to pay him $28 million(WOW) but no one expects that to happen. But Irsay has come out and said he would like Manning back but its up to Peyton(even though its not) So what will happen? Will Peyton re structure his deal to stay in Indy or will one of the most decorated QB’s in the history of the league hit the Free Agency market? See Peyton doesn’t have to do a thing but rehab and wait to collect 28 million. The onus is on Irsay to cut him,but Irsay knows the fan backlash would be harsh.

So where does that leave Andrew Luck yeah he’s gonna go number 1 overall but will the Colts really throw him in the Starting role? Now me personally believe that A rookie QB should sit at least a year behind a good starter  but Indy might not have a good starter. And its not unheard of for a rookie QB to start his first year and do well, we dont even have to go that far back jus look at Cam Newton. And if Luck does get the startin nod then its almost certain that Manning will not be in Indy. With teams like Miami, Arizona, Minnesota, and Seattle all lookin for QB’s there will be no shortage of suitors for number 18. That brings us to Matt Flynn. The backup QB in Green Bay made a name for himself  by filling in for Aaron Rodgers and puttin up numbers. He now is ready for a startin job and that same list of teams that want Manning  will be courting Flynn if they miss out on Manning. The Flynn situation reminds me alot of the Kevin Kolb situation from last year. Teams are so desperate for a QB they take chances and pay alot of money for unproven QB’s. And you see Arizona is in the mix.

We finish up The NFL news with The man of the hour “RG3″ after raising eyebrows at the Combine wit his 4.41 40 yd dash his stock is up and it looks like he may be the number 2 pick overall The Rams sit at the number 2 pick right now but have stated they are more then willing to trade that pick. The Washington Redskins have expressed intrest in said pick. Is Luck a better QB then RG3? Will Matt Flynn be another Kevin Kolb and where oh where will Peyton Manning land? You can say many things about The NFL but boring isnt one of them as more NFL news comes in everyday!!! So keep it locked as I bring you more NFL news every week!!!
