Rajon Rondo is no doubt the catalyst to the Celtics success but has he rubbed management the wrong way?

Wit the Trade deadline quickly approaching no player other then Dwight Howard has been mentioned in trade rumors more then Celtics All Star PG Rajon Rondo. And this aint the first time Rondo’s name has been mentioned in trade talks. In the short Free Agency period Rondos name was then up for trade talks then. In fact it seems every year since his arrival in Boston that Rajon Rondo is on the trade block. despite the fact that he is at times the best player on the court for the Celtics. But Why? What is it about Rondo that always have the C’s lookin to replace him. For the most part Rondo has been the consummate professional and has not let the trade talks effect his play on the court. And his numbers are always among the top for PG’s in the league.

So if it isn’t his play on the court then what is it then. Well Rajon Rondo is a youngster on a veteran team that has some big personalities already in Garnett, Allen and Pierce. Not to mention Coach Doc Rivers is a pretty strict coach who demands alot from all players but he expects even more from his Point Guard being that was the position he played. Its been said that the two have had some very heated exchanges in C’s practices over the years. The Celtics management have called Rajon Rondo to “High Maintenance”. And his constant head butting with coach and teammates has rubbed them the wrong way. Is Rondo really that much of a problem?

According to Coach Rivers its not a problem. And he came out very strong in defense of his Point Guard and criticized media outlets for tryin to fuel the trade fires. Seein as how The run of the big 3 in Boston is winding down Rajon Rondo is the future. And say what you want about his personality but Rondo’s a competitor and wants to win and its very slim that if you were to trade Rondo you will get equal value in return So in my opinion the Celtics need to clear the air and move foward wit there star guard cause like it or not he is the future and the best player on the Celtics. So in closing I say to Celtics management DONT TRADE RAJON RONDO!!!!
