Training Camp

With all 32 teams now having started training camp we’re starting to see some rosters take shape and fans placing bets on where there team will finish the season.

The first pre season game is a little over a week away and while the Eagles have been the team to talk about many other teams have gotten better while some teams moves or lack there of have fans scratchin there heads.

After the Jets lost out on Nnamdi they didn’t sulk for long. They turned around and grabbed fresh out the pen Plaxico to a 1yr deal. The signing of  Burress means that most likely Braylon Edwards will be out of New York. While out in Philly it seems three’s a crowd in the Eagles secondary Asante Samuel is feeling like the odd man out after the additions of Nnamdi and DRC. But in good news for the Eagles Hold out DeSean Jackson will be reporting to camp sometime this week.

There appears to be no hard feelings in Steelers Camp towards James Harrison and his slanderous statements towards teammates, and Hines Ward has been quite about his DUI and Rothlisberger fresh off getting married has not violated any women(giggty) but did agree to restructure his contract, so things seem all good in Steel town. Peyton Manning made news for his contract extenstion and the fact he took less money in the hopes that said money can be spent to fill in holes that Indy needs.

The Chicago Bears who at first seemed to not realize that the lockout was over made some big moves when they signed former Cowboys Marion Barber and Roy Williams but lose Tight end Greg Olson. Olson never really found a spot in the Mike Martz offense that doesnt really use TE in the passing game like other offenses. The Giants and 2 time pro-bowl DE Osi Umenyiora have not been able to settle on a new contract so they are shoppin him but there asking for a 1st rd pick. I dont see too many teams who will give up a 1st rd pick for Osi even though hes coming off a season where he had 10 forced fumbles and 11 and a half sacks. Up in Seattle the Seahawks and longtime vet linebacker Lofa Tatupu part ways after Lofa refused to take a pay cut. Lofa who’s been plagued with injury the last few seasons is another vet lost from the 05-06 Superbowl team that only has 2 players left on the current roster.

So as teams continue to gear up for the start of the Reg Season we’ll all stay tuned to see How the Soap Oprah unfolds thats why we love the NFL!!!
