Who doesn’t love good Mob Movies?

But what are the best ones ever made? Well thats what I’m here for. I’m gonna list my favorite Mob Movies in no specific order but we can debate if yall dont agree!!! But every movie on this list is a must see

Lets Start wit the Original Godfather. Epically classic as far as mob movies go and while I enjoy Brando in this movie  Pacino as Michael Corleone and James Cann as Sonny Corleone are my favorite characters. The scene where Michael kills Solazzo in the restaurant is awesome and every single scene that Sonny is in is cant miss. Here’s the trailer for The Godfather

And of Coarse Godfather 2 is on the list Pacino is once again Awesome as Michael and Robert Duvall expands on his greatness as Tom Hagen. Best Scene in this Movie when Michael finds out that his brother Fredo was in on the plot to have him killed and puts his head in his hand and then the kiss “I know it was you Fredo, you broke my heart” FUCKIN CLASSIC heres the Trailer for Godfather 2

Up next we got Scorsese’s best work ever Goodfellas. This movie has so many quotable lines and memorable scenes. One scene that I luv that never gets talked about is the scene where the dudes talkin to Paulie about Tommy and Paulie says “Tommys a bad seed what you want me to do shoot’em” and dude says “That wouldnt be such a bad idea” and Paulie gives him the look of death, its classic. If you have never seen this movie I dont know whats wrong with you.

Up next is Casino another Scorsese flick while similar and not as good as Goodfellas this film is still Awesome. Pesci and DeNiro are both great of coarse. And the movie still has some great and memorable scenes. When they stick dudes head in a vice or when Pesci beats dude and stabs him wit a pen both classic scenes. Don Rickles and James Woods both are also great in this movie.

The Departed is the Third Scorsese film on this list and is also just as good as the previous two. The most modern movie on this list its set in South Boston and focuses on the Irish mob as opposed to the Italian mob. The Four lead roles are all at there best. Dicaprio as Billy Costigan, Matt Damon as Colin Sullivan,Mark Wahlberg as Sergeant Dignam and Jack Nicholson as Frank Costello are all superb. The story is prob one of the best stories of Mob Movies and any movie period and Matt Damons Character will make you hate his guts before the movie is over. Now watch the Trailer for The Departed

Next is a underrated and slept on film in the “Mob Movies” Genre and thats Donnie Brasco. With great lead roles from Al Pacino and Johnny Depp it tells the True story of FBI agent Joe Pistone who went undercover and was befriended by mobster Lefty Ruggiero. Michael Madsen is Excellent as Boss Sonny Black. And I enjoyed seein Pacino play the low end of the mob totem pole as opposed to the top of the pole like in Godfather.

Another Very underrated of the mob movies is the HBO made “Gotti”. Armand Assante is at his best as John Gotti and William Forsythe is cold blooded as Sammy ”The Bull” Gravano. Also future Soprano’s stars Dominic Chianese, Vincent Pastore, and Tony Sirico are featured in this movie

And Speaking of The Sopranos I know its not a movie but its my list and there’s no way I could leave them off. The Sopranos is flat out Awesome and if you have never seen it then your jus wasting your life. There are Soprano Characters in almost every movie on this list. It is one of the best TV series ever made.
